The Global Youth Summit will take place 24-30 July in Switzerland, and the euforia community was specially invited!
The Global Youth Summit will consist on 5 working days in which the 60 participants will spend time discussing projects, initiatives and ideas to tackle different issues that concern them. The work is both thematic, by grouping the participants’ different interest issues, as well as plenaries and workshops that are relevant to the group as a whole. Workshops and plenaries on Project management, presentation skills, Fundraising, Monitoring and Evaluation, use of Social Media, Campaigning, Best Practices in youth led initiatives, group management, amongst others will be provided. Food Security will be a cross-cutting subject that will be touched throughout the Summit in plenaries as well as introduced in discussions throughout the Summit. The plenaries and workshops will be provided by experts, representatives of different organizations and companies as well as the Global Changemakers Team.
In order to apply you must fill in an online application as well as send them a two-minute video describing your efforts to bring about a positive change in your communities and about your ambitions (no worries, a video made with your phone will make it ;).
They are looking for the most inspiring young social entrepreneurs, community activists and volunteers from across the globe. Participants must be between 18 and 23 years of age on the dates of the summit.
